Conceived and designed by the non-profit organization Eyes Wide Open (cultural production entity of the label The Eyes) in partnership with the French Ministry of Culture and the SAIF, the Eyes Wide Open 1st photo book grant program is intended for photographers who wish to propose a project of their first book with the support of an independent French publisher.

The Eyes Wide Open 1st Photo Book Grant program proposes to support 3 first book projects by a photographer and his or her editor up to 5000€ each.
It is divided into 3 categories, each one answering a specific need:
– Grant dedicated to a French photographer or a photographer living in France
– Grant dedicated to a woman photographer
– Grant dedicated to a photographer from a “Global South” country (Africa, Caribbean, South East Asia, Latin America, Middle East)
