A blend of photography and video, the new TRANS*GALACTIQUE exhibition presents fifteen trans artists’ view of the world, on view at the Gaîté Lyrique from October 18, with free admission.

The TRANS*GALACTIQUE exhibition celebrates the possibility of a plural and emancipatory trans* gaze. Invited by curators and artists Superpartners (SMITH, artist and researcher & Nadège Piton, curator and performer), Franck Lamy (curator, performer and DJ) and Balthazar Heisch (artist), and based on the eponymous issue of the photographic magazine The Eyes published in 2020, fifteen trans artists explore through photography and video alternative, resistant, queer and ecological ways of relating to others and to the world, beyond an aesthetic of body transformation.
