CONVERSATION WITH CAMILLE GHARBI – April 20th
5/04/2023
Conversation with Camille Gharbi: “What roles can art and culture play in the prevention of gender violence?
The conversation will focus on the issue of gender violence, its representation and prevention, and on the links between arts, media and awareness raising. The questions that will guide the meeting are the following: what role can art and culture play in raising awareness and, by extension, preventing this type of situation? How can we represent and talk about gender-based violence in order to arouse empathy and open up avenues of reflection among the public, especially the affected public? How can professionals who deal with these issues use the work of artists, writers and journalists as tools for social transformation in the field?
