Claire de Rouen Books

Opened by Claire de Rouen in 2005, who sadly passed away in 2012, this small bookshop continues to offer a thought-provoking and intriguing collection of photography books. Born in the 1930s in Alexandria, de Rouen’s eclectic background is reflected in the books, the décor, the music, and even the staff that work there. The friendly and warm atmosphere in the shop does not detract from the fact, however, that the titles on the shelves are for serious collectors and enthusiasts. In this magnificent gem of a shop, de Rouen’s legacy lives on.
