An interdisciplinary space where art and books are mingled in a combination of bookshop, art gallery and conference room
Ivorypress, founded in London in 1996 by Elena Ochoa Foster, opened its Madrid venue in 2008 near the city’s financial district. A gallery featuring one of Madrid’s best bookstores, a publishing house and (in turn) photography, architecture and art exhibitions occupies the space designed by Norman Foster. There is also a permanent display of artist books published by Ivorypress in collaboration with artists such as Anish Kapoor, Francis Bacon, Isamu Noguchi, Richard Long, Ai Weiwei
