La Comète launch event from Thursday, December 6 to Sunday, December 9.

The Photographic Bookstore Le 29 joined the Picto group in September and became La Comète bookstore, named after the first Picto photo laboratory.

La Comète, under the artistic direction of The Eyes, is a lively and daring space dedicated to photography. We provide you with an original and specialized selection of books and organize events all year long: books signatures, installations of emerging talents in the field of photography and publishing, workshops for children and adults around the image.

The team of La Comète, including Marc Pussemier, our expert librarian, and The Eyes in the artistic direction, have concocted a great weekend of inauguration:

Thursday 6th 6.30 pm : Opening of the installation “No More No Less” by Kensuke Koike and Thomas Sauvin with TheM éditions (by invitation)

Friday 7th 6.30 pm : A book, a story with Xavier Barral from Éditions Xavier Barral – EXB

Saturday 8th 3 pm : Portraits session by Vincent Josse & book signing with Michel Poivert, Mathieu Pernot and Marguerite Bornhauser.

Sunday 9th 3 pm : Picto Saint Martin lab open house & book signing with Naïade Plante and Corentin Fohlen.
