Le Champ des Impossibles

Cultural association, Le Champ des Impossibles aims to support artists in their creative process, preserve their works and to share them widely. 

Based in Perche en Nocé (France), this project was brought to life by the mayor, Pascal Pecchiolo, his deputies and the city council, by Patrick Bard (photographer, writer and president of the association Préaux-Patrimoine), and by Christine Ollier (artistic director and representative of Le Champ des Impossibles). This project put in place a strategy to develop the territory by associating artistic and cultural activities, which then help develop the economy and tourism. 

It consists of artists residency, workshops, exhibitions, and this year it is completed by an Art and Heritage Journey, “Le Chemin des Impossibles”. 

The path runs through the Perche en Nocé county, on 50 km of secondary roads to make us discover new landscapes, monuments and contemporary artists. In 11 stages, we can discover 12 artists from the French artistic scene, revealing its diversity with sculpture, photography, painting, video and installations.
